The WWE cancelled the Monday Night Raw because of snow storms that are hammering the North East.
The WWE just held their Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Sunday night, kicking off the “Road To WrestleMania,” the biggest event of the year. It was a rather controversial show amongst fans, who were not fond of the ending to the show.
Unfortunately for the WWE, they won’t be able to get the train back on the right path because they’re being forced to cancel Monday Night Raw, the follow up event to the pay-per-view. The show was scheduled to be held in Hartford, Connecticut, but the north eastern region of the United States is being hammered by snow storms.
Because of the risks involved with travel, and concerns for the safety of the performers as well as the fans, they decided to cancel the event.

This certainly will give those who jumped on the #CancelWWENetwork hashtag trending the feeling that they accomplished something when in reality they didn’t.
