20 best Super Bowl commercials of all-time

19. FedEx “Carrier Pigeons”
This is one of my personal favorites of all the Super Bowl commercials.
Who doesn’t love giant pigeons wreaking havoc on an entire city?
In the spot, which aired during the 2008 Super Bowl, a company has figured out a way to revolutionize their shipping needs by equipping carrier pigeons with “GPS and night vision.”
It seems like a great idea for small package and letters. I mean, there’s tons of pigeons in the world; why not give them a job?
“What about the bigger stuff?” asks the man, who appears to be an executive at the company.
That’s when the genetically-modified, Mega Pigeons are released from their lair, carrying giant boxes in their claws while flying hundreds of feet above the city.
Seconds later, the box breaks and crashes to the ground, where people are running for their lives and other Mega Pigeons are attacking buses and causing general mayhem.
After seeing the damage done, the executive decides to ship using FedEx instead.
The commercial aired during the first quarter and was part of FedEx’s “Relax, it’s FedEx” campaign, according to the company’s website.
