Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kyle Korver will join J.J. Reddick and Wes Matthews in the 3-point competition on All-Star weekend.
The NBA 3-point competition might be the main event going into NBA All-Star weekend. Just look at the lineup that is set to hit the floor for that Saturday competition. Golden State Warriors Splash Brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are both expected to get on the floor to let it fly. Kyle Korver is also expected to join in on the competition. Wes Matthews and J.J. Reddick will round out the competition.

This is one of the best collection of players to join in on the competition. You don’t always get an MVP candidate joining in on these competitions. We have seen Larry Legend step out there and win the first 3 of these competitions. Dirk Nowitzki has done it. This time we will get Stephen Curry in the mix.
Steph is one of the best players in the game at this time and he will let it fly from anywhere on the court. He is definitely and MVP candidate this season with his team playing at a high level. He has not won the competition in his 3 previous attempts, but he plans to get back on the floor until he finally wins one. Will this finally be his time?

Curry’s teammate, Klay Thompson, is another player that can let it fly from anywhere on the court. He has been knocking down 45.8% of his threes this season Just a few days ago, he set the record for the most points scored by an individual in a quarter. He knocked down nine 3-pointers in that quarter and made all 13 of his shots. He scored 37 points in that quarter of basketball. IN A QUARTER! He finished that game with 52 points and made eleven 3-pointers in the game.
Kyle Korver is deadly from deep. He is an assassin. He just needs a sliver of space to let it fly and he will knock it down. He is known for his ability to knock down the triple and he will get to show off his skills against some of the best. He is knocking down 53.1% of his 3-pointers this season. The kid is unreal from deep.
Wes Matthews and J.J. Reddick will be solid competition for all of them and could walk away as the winner. Both of them are deadly from deep.
It is still unknown if last year’s champion Marco Belinelli will defend his title against this group of shooters. Will he step up to the competition?
There is going to be some sizzling performances. The fan favorites will be Steph, Klay and Kyle. We could watch those guys shoot it all day long.
