Which 10 Super Bowl winners have been the biggest underdogs in NFL history?
The NFL is the most popular sport in the United States of America, and that likely won’t be changing anytime soon. Football is part of so many people and families, and the Super Bowl is a huge event each and every year.
That time of year has come once again, and the New England Patriots are preparing to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX. Setting aside all of the “Deflate-Gate” drama that has been surrounding the Patriots, the game is going to be very entertaining between two quality football teams.
Neither team can be listed as much of a “favorite” with both teams being dominant in their own areas. Seattle won the Super Bowl last season, and obviously Tom Brady and the Patriots have had their share of championship wins as well. Brady has been playing at an MVP caliber level for quite some time now, and the Patriots’ high-powered offense will be going up against the best defense in the league.
All of that being said, it is fun to look back at past Super Bowls each year around this time and remember which games were the biggest upsets.
