6. Super Bowl XXXII – Broncos 31, Packers 24

John Elway and the Denver Broncos had their work cut out for them facing the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII, and not many gave them a chance to win. The spread was in the Packers favor by 11 points, which shows just how much respect the Broncos were given.

It ended up being a very entertaining and hard-fought game between these two teams, but in the end the Broncos prevailed. The Packers were defending champions, and a team from the AFC hadn’t won the Super Bowl in 13 tries. Denver had lost in three of those Super Bowls as well.

The Broncos were simply the better team and they took the Packers out of their game. Elway was an absolute star, and the Packers simply couldn’t overcome the performance that Denver put on the field. Needless to say, the Broncos were considered underdogs, but they came away with a huge victory and one of the best in their history.
