Vegas

It’s a pretty well known fact that Vegas is a hot spot for the Super Bowl, and that gambling hits its highest peak (at least in the sports variety) for the NFL’s championship game. There is of course as always the traditional money line, spread  and parlay bets.

To note, as of Saturday, January 24 it was New England (-2), or Seattle (+2), as reported by Bleacher Report. Don’t ask me what that means. I honestly don’t know since I don’t gamble. Slightly more self-explanatory is the over-under which was at 48.5.

But what I would enjoy reading about are the prop bets. Again, there are the traditional ones, such as “who wins the coin toss?”, “who scores first?”, and MVP.

But there are some which are downright hilarious. My favorite, per ESPN.com:

  • Will Bill Belichick smile during the game on camera?
  • What color hoodie will Belichick wear?
  • What color hair will Katy Perry have?
  • How many times (over/under) will Gisele Bundchen (Tom Brady’s wife) be shown on tv?
