Davis is the best young star in the game well on his way to a Hall of Fame career. According to Bill Simmons, Davis’s current PER would be the best of ALL-TIME.
I can't believe this is true, but it's true: Anthony Davis's current PER (31.9) would be the best of all-time. http://t.co/lS0LuUdfNg

Basically, the Pelicans can’t afford to lose him.
The Pelicans are 25 points per 100 possessions better with Anthony Davis on the floor. Doesn’t get much more valuable than that.

Good to see that Davis is just fine. The NBA would be way worse off without him. Only a minor scare for the Pelicans and Davis.
