Seth MacFarlane’s original movie came out in 2012 and was a big hit for the “Family Guy” man after grossing over $500m.
The sequel is expected to make just as much.
But where does New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady fit in all of this? Well, the movie’s plot is set in Boston, and the main character is unable to naturally re-produce … due to the fact that he is a stuffed animal. Well, apparently Ted (Voiced by Seth MacFarlane) want’s a a child, so he is need of a sperm donor.
This is where Mr. Tom Brady has a part to play.

It was announced that the quarterback was set to feature in the movie, but the extent of his involvement was unknown until recently. It seems that one of Ted’s options to impregnate his partner, is to use the three-time Super Bowl winning quarterback’s All-Pro seed.
A commercial for the movie is set to air during Sunday’s Super Bowl, and Uproxx Sports reported that NBC reportedly contemplated changing the commercial to feature a joke related to the ‘Deflate-Gate’ scandal.
However, there has been confirmation that due to the fact it would be a lot of work to add in extra scenes to the movie, it will stay the same. Uproxx also reported that another source at Universal said that there was never a possibility of the commercial being changed.
Regardless of the Super Bowl commercial, I for one cannot wait to see what MacFarlane has in store for the world. I’m eagerly anticipating the commercial, and the movie in June.
