Injuries cut short the career of Terrell Davis but when he was healthy he was as good as any running back of his era. Davis is the Denver Broncos all-time leading rusher with 7,607 yards, highlighted by his 2,008 yards in 1998, the third-highest total at the time and earned him MVP honors. Davis would lead the Broncos to their second straight Super Bowl that year, one year after he was named Super Bowl MVP after rushing for 157 yards and becoming the first player to rush for three touchdowns.

Davis would only play in 17 more games after that magical 1998 season due to injuries and rush for 1,194 yards and four touchdowns. His first four years put him on a Jim Brown, Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders path to stardom with three All-Pro seasons, two Super Bowls, a league and Super Bowl MVP, but sadly was robbed of a longer career.

Will that be enough to get enough votes to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame?
. RB. DEN. Terrell Davis. 13. player. 45
