Pablo Sandoval shows us all he’s no one-trick pony.
Pablo Sandoval is used to dominating the diamond in October. He’s done it with the San Francisco Giants so many times en route to three World Series championships.
Simply put, he’s in that rare class where a player becomes larger than life when the most crucial of times call for it.
The Boston Red Sox are now counting on his clutch play after they inked him to a four-year $88 million deal this past offseason.
What Boston fans didn’t realize is what the man can also do on the court:
Sandoval takes off-season training to a very different level as he puts in this half-court shot from his keister.
It’s perfect.
It combines a little abdominal workout along with the magic “Kung-Fu Panda” is used to providing. And let’s be frank for a moment: Pablo could use a little ab workout.
Last year Sandoval hit .279 wtih 16 homerums and 73 runs batted in for San Francisco.
