16. Paul Millsap
17.2 PPG, 8.1 RPG, 3.2 APG, 20.4 PER
Like every other player on the Atlanta Hawks, Paul Millsap is one of the best underrated players in the NBA. Along with Jeff Teague, Al Horford, and Kyle Korver, Millsap has helped lead the Hawks to the East’s best record and a 17-game winning streak.
Millsap was also selected for the Eastern Conference All-Star team as a reserve, which will be the first All-Star Game of his career. Millsap deserves it, too. He’s been one of the most valuable contracts in the NBA since his time with the Utah Jazz, and he’s still one of the best values in the NBA at $9.5 million per year.
In the last five games, Millsap has been playing some of the best basketball of his career, averaging 20.4 points and 9.2 rebounds. On top of that, he’s making 52 percent of his 3-point attempts. Millsap is shooting more than four 3-pointers per game, too.
More like Paul Trillsap, am I right?
It’s just outstanding what the Hawks have been able to do this season.
Next: BOOGIE!
