Most Super Bowl parties will have chicken wings, plenty of various dips and enough beverages to quench your thirst, but for those in the Seattle area, their Super Bowl party will feature plenty of medicinal marijuana.
The Super Bowl calls for a special sendoff to the NFL season and with the Seattle Seahawks taking on the New England Patriots one Seattle-based retailer has an idea to involve the Seahawks 12th man and the state’s growing marijuana presence.

Solstice is a Seattle-based marijuana retailer who is rolling out a new product in time for the Super Bowl by offering a special “Seahawk blend” comprised of Blueberry Cheesecake and Headband strains, for about $70, according to NBC.
Now it is only available to medical marijuana users so unless you have your card to purchase the Seahawk blend you’ll have to settle for the pot you get from your local guy.
But for those suffering from restless leg syndrome, night sweats or any other ailment that requires medicinal marijuana to treat your ailment you can purchase a special 12 pack of the unofficial weed of the 12th man. Solstice is taking the 12th man to new heights by rolling 12,000 joints for the Super Bowl which is equal to about 6,000 grams or 13 pounds.
But employees at Solstice have rolled up their sleeves and are doing the heavy lifting to make sure no Super Bowl party is without some party favors.
“We still have about 3,000 left to roll before the Super Bowl,” Joe Santucci, sales director at Solstice, told The Huffington Post.
And the orders have been rolling in ever since they released their promotional video earlier this week.
So if you’re at a boring Super Bowl party this year and find yourself in need of something to spark the excitement levels, you may wanna plan next year’s party in Seattle where they definitely know how to party in style.
