āListen,āWaitersĀ said, āthey give me the ball. Like, I touch the ball. Like, I actually, like, you know, touch the ball.ā
You know, like, Dion. If you are going to touch the ball you might want to, you know, like make easy shots.
Dion Waiters missed an easy lay up in transition against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Maybe there was a reason he wasnāt getting the ball as much as he wanted in Cleveland.
He did end up getting the ball right back and finishing for two points. But, the point is that when you are in transition with an easyĀ bucket you have a couple options: you either dunk the ball and make a highlight for SportsCenterās top ten, or you finish with fundamentals and class.
Not lazily flick the ball up and smile as you make the put back.
Bad form, Dion. Very bad form.
