Kevin Love booed by Timberwolves fans (Video)
Kevin Love was booed by former fans after his return to Minnesota for the Cavaliers vs. Timberwolves match up on Saturday night
Kevin Love was not exactly welcomed back to Minnesota with open arms. During the Cavaliers road trip to Minnesota, fans were quick to boo Love during introductions.
Over the summer, a block buster trade sent Love to the Cavs to join superstars Lebron James and Kyrie Irving. Apparently Timberwolves fans are still pretty bitter about Love’s departure. You can’t really blame them either, after the Timberwolves slow 8-38 record for the first half of the season.

But then again, Wolves’ fans have to realize with all the young talent they acquired for Love, it’s going to take some time for them to be competitive again. After all, with Love last season, Minnesota was just 40-42 and missed the playoffs.
Time heals all wounds. Just ask LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. They were sure to welcome him back with arms wide open. They didn’t just boo James back when he joined the Miami Heat. They burned his jersey, too.
For the Timberwolves, young stars such as Andrew Wiggins (15.1 PPG) and Shabazz Muhammad (13.7 PPG) should help the healing process a little bit. The future is looking bright for the Timberwolves, but for now, fans remain bitter about their love lost with Kevin Love.
