Key and Peele spoof Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch (Video)
By Hayden Kane
The comedy duo Key and Peele were back with another NFL skit in the days leading up to the Super Bowl, this time spoofing a press conference with Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks.
It’s one thing to get the dialogue to be funny for a sketch like this one. It is quite another to be on point as far as mannerisms and the other nuances of doing impressions of famous people like Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch.

Tiresome though these types of spoofs can be over time, Key and Peele have done an impressive job this week of keeping things fresh and funny. The fact of the matter is that many people are experiencing fatigue by the time Saturday rolls around after a week full of Sherman, Lynch, and discussions about deflated footballs.
Things can only stay interesting for so long. On a related note, things can only stay funny for so long.
With that in mind, it is no small compliment to say that this spoof of a long-winded Sherman and a disinterested Lynch is pretty darn hilarious in the lead-up to this year’s Super Bowl.
Check out the masterful skit below, with an especially spot-on Richard Sherman impression.
