Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo left their Saturday night game with a bloody nose after taking a knee to the face from teammate Richard Jefferson.
The Dallas Mavericks are taking on the Orlando Magic on Saturday night when they lost point guard Rajon Rondo to a rather scary and unusual injury. While trying to make a steal on a ball and lying on the ground, Richard Jefferson ran towards Rondo and inadvertently delivered a knee to his face.
It left Rondo with a bloody nose and he was forced to leave the game. Aside from the bloody nose, there clearly is concern that he could have a concussion as well.
Rajon Rondo crumpled to the floor when he collided with Richard Jefferson's left knee accidentally. Rondo appeared to hurt his nose.

In the image below you can see it was completely unintentional, and Jefferson unwisely wasn’t looking where he was going as he went to run over Rondo.
[UPDATE:] Rondo won’t be assessed until he gets back to Dallas, so he won’t return to Saturday night’s game.
Rondo will be reassessed by the @dallasmavs' medical staff when the team returns to Dallas. #DALatORL
