Who are the top five running backs on the free agent market during the 2015 NFL offseason?
There are plenty of talented free agents that will be on the market in the 2015 offseason. Every position has talent to be had this offseason, but the running back position has quite a few players that could help change the future for different teams.
While the quarterback position has taken over the majority of the offensive game plans for quite a few different teams, running backs are still very valuable with their ability to take pressure off of the passing game.
DeMarco Murray was the best running back in the NFL this past season, and he is just one of the big names to hit the open market. Dallas has a chance to re-sign him, but it isn’t going to be easy for them to figure out what type of deal they can give him. Other than Murray, there are plenty of talented players available that could help teams out in a big way.
That being said, it is never too early to begin analyzing the free agent market. With just one game left before the end of the season, all but two teams are already beginning to analyze the free agent market themselves.
