Boston Strong is still very much a thing, as evidenced by the Boston Bruins wearing some New England Patriots hats during warmups Saturday night.

The New England Patriots sent some hats to the Boston Bruins, who showed off the gear during warm-ups prior to their game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

The hats came with a message: “Do Your Job.” The hats were hung on each player’s locker.

Pretty much the entire New England region is rooting for the Patriots on Super Bowl Sunday, so it’s a wise move for the Bruins to show their support in a sort of all-for-one, one-for-all exhibition of support among the city’s pro athletes.

It’s not unheard of. The Kansas City Chiefs were showing their support for the Kansas City Royals during last year’s MLB postseason.

It also provides a nice sign of unity for the fans, many of whom support the same teams in the city. I mean, think about it; if I’m a fan of the Bruins and the Pats and the hockey players are out there before a game sporting Patriots gear, that’s pretty cool.

The Bruins might keep the lids for a while—Boston took home a 3-1 win over the Kings in the game at TD Garden.
