Emmanuel Sanders believes Peyton Manning will be returning to the Broncos next year
Since the loss to the Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional Round of the AFC Playoffs, all of the talk in regards to the Broncos has been centered around whether or not Peyton Manning would be returning for at least one more year in 2015. We don’t have a definitive answer to this as of yet, but we are getting a lot of opinions from some of his teammates.
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is the latest to weigh in.
Sunday morning during the early Super Bowl coverage, Sanders was a guest on SportsCenter, and when he was tasked with answering the inquiry about whether or not Manning would be back in Denver next season, he seemed pretty confident.
For Sanders’ sake, he had better hope Manning returns. This was the wideout’s first season in Denver after coming over from the Steelers and he was more than productive with Manning tossing him the ball, hauling in 101 catches for 1,404 yards and nine touchdowns.
We should know sometime in the coming weeks whether or not Peyton Manning will be under center once again for the Broncos. Reports as of now indicate that after he meets with his doctor, the announcement that he’s returning should not be far behind.
