Super Bowl XLIX standout Chris Matthews of the Seattle Seahawks only had one reporter interview him on media day.
Before Super Bowl XLIX, if someone asked you who Chris Mathews was, you probably wouldn’t have an answer. Today, his name is buzzing all over social media.
The Seattle Seahawks receiver is having a tremendous performance so far in Super Bowl XLIX against the New England Patriots. At the moment of writing this article, Matthews has 4 receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown as the Seahawks lead the Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLIX.
Matthews last 100-yard game? October 16, 2010 — with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Apparently, there was one reporter that had a feeling about Matthews on media day.

Perhaps he just saw Matthews walking around and thought why not interview him. Or, maybe the reporter had a feeling about the undrafted free-agent in the big game.
If he did have a feeling about Matthews, then what a shot in the dark that was.
H/T to Darren Rovell’s twitter for the tweet.
