After experiencing it himself just three-weeks ago, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is assuming Bill Belichick has something tricky in store for Super Bowl XLIX.

After the AFC Divisional Round matchup between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens ended, much was made about the interesting formations Bill Belichick’s offense threw on the field.

Playing the eligible-ineligible game at the line of scrimmage, it helped New England make two separate 14-point comebacks in the game.

It wasn’t the fact that John Harbaugh was mad about the tricky formations, it was dealing with the official reporting of the ineligible players.

Via Sporting News:

“It’s a substitution type of a trick type of a thing,” Harbaugh said. “So they don’t give you the opportunity, they don’t give you the chance to make the proper substitutions and things like that. It’s not something that anybody’s ever done before. The league will look at that type of thing and I’m sure that they’ll make some adjustments.”

Tom Brady clearly took exception to Harbaugh’s comments as he’s been on record as stating that Harbaugh should “study the rulebook.”

After Deflate-Gate came down, those comments obviously were thrown right back into Brady’s face.

Nevertheless, just as we get set to kick off Super Bowl XLIX, Harbaugh, who joined NBC’s set, had this to say:

Only time will tell if Belichick does have something in store for the banged up Legion of Doom.
