Portland Trail Blazers fan Josh Thatcher proved to be true to his word and eat a shoe once Damian Lillard was snubbed from the All-Star Game.
Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is having an outstanding season. He’s averaging 21.3 points, 6.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game while leading Portland to a 32-16 record.

Unfortunately for Lillard, his stellar first half wasn’t enough to earn him a spot on the 2015 Western Conference All-Stars squad. And unfortunately for Trail Blazers fan Josh Thatcher, that meant he had to eat a shoe.
Thatcher tweeted on Jan. 29 that he would eat a shoe if Lillard wasn’t named to the All-Star Game.
@BarbaraTitus @ichapod that shoe Brandon was gonna eat if we lost to Lakers? I'll eat it if Dame misses.

With NBA commissioner Adam Silver naming Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins as the injury replacement for Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant the next day, Lillard’s All-Star Game-less fate was sealed.
So, it was time for Thatcher to pay up.
At the very least, one has to give Thatcher credit for staying true to his word.
Hopefully Lillard sees the video and gives Thatcher some free tickets for his commitment to Lillard and the Blazers.
