During the 2015 Kitten Bowl, a few kittens got out of hand with their touchdown celebration and Roger Goodell had to lay down the law.

In case you were unaware, the second annual Kitten Bowl is going down on the Hallmark Channel to kick off Super Bowl Sunday.

The furry competitors — who have names like Aaron Pawdgers, Matt Furte, Cat Stafford and other punny monikers — are having the time of their lives while the world watches. Unfortunately their love of the game has led to excessive celebration.

Just look at this cat, for example.

He reaches the endzone and then poses for the camera.

After his teammates realized he scored, anarchy broke out. In the NFL, you can’t even dunk on a goal post, so these competitors who are making the uprights their playground are certainly in for a fine from NFL dictator Goodell.

Something tells me the kittens won’t really get a big salary for Sunday’s Kitten Bowl performance, so hopefully Goodell takes it easy on the little guys and gals. I guess it will all come down to whether or not they decide to sit down with the media for their obligations following the game.

We will have to wait and see.
