However, attention has already turned to next year’s big game especially in the mind of 49ers’ CEO Jed York, who will be helping to orchestrate things when the Super Bowl is hosted in the Bay Area’s new Levi Stadium.

Plans for the game are to make it a wide-ranging event even outside of the Bay Area.  The 49ers CEO, along with the organization plans to make this one of the most philanthropic Super Bowl in history, with 25 percent of every dollar being raised going back to the local community.

York recently said to NBC Sports about the event, “We’re going to have events…from Napa to all the way down in Monterey. Carmel, Pebble Beach-you’re going to have golfing everywhere, you’re going to have culinary, food, wine, obviously the technology, and…the entrepreneurial spirit of the Bay Area.”

Later this month, it will be announced which Bay Area organizations will receive a total of $2.5 million in preparation for the game next year which will take place on February, 7 2016.  There are also events planned for the Santa Clara Convention Center, and Levi’s Stadium leading up to the game.

This will be the “golden anniversary” of the Super Bowl which will be named Super Bowl L, in terms of roman numerals.  This also marks 50 years since The Green Bay Packers won the first Super Bowl over the Kansas City Chiefs.
