Super Bowl prop bet results: Who scored the first touchdown in Super Bowl XLIX?


There was plenty of betting action on Super Bowl XLIX, with prop bets generating a lot of the attention. One of the most popular bets was: ā€œwho will score the first touchdown of the game?ā€

In the second quarter, we learned the result.

It was the New England Patriots who scored the first touchdown of the game, with Brandon LaFell hauling in a pass from Tom Brady.

LaFellĀ was 125-to-1 to score the first touchdown, whileĀ Gronkowski was the bookies’ favorite to get the first score of the gameĀ at 13-to-2.
