Super Bowl prop bet results: Who scored the first touchdown in Super Bowl XLIX?


There was plenty of betting action on Super Bowl XLIX, with prop bets generating a lot of the attention. One of the most popular bets was: “who will score the first touchdown of the game?”

In the second quarter, we learned the result.

It was the New England Patriots who scored the first touchdown of the game, with Brandon LaFell hauling in a pass from Tom Brady.

LaFell was 125-to-1 to score the first touchdown, while Gronkowski was the bookies’ favorite to get the first score of the game at 13-to-2.
