Tony Dungy answered the critics of he giving Bobby Wagner an MVP vote

Saturday night during the annual NFL Honors show, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the MVP of the 2014 season, and deservedly. To many people, that was not a shock, as Rodgers had one of the best seasons of his career.

However, what was a shock was to find out afterwards that the Seahawks’ Bobby Wagner received exactly one vote for the award, which had a lot of people asking questions. Most notably, people were wondering who in their right mind would give the defensive standout a vote, considering that he missed five games this season.

Well, as we would come to find out, the culprit was none other than Tony Dungy, who took right to twitter to answer the critics of his decision.

Well, technically he’s not wrong, to an extent, but the fact remains that he was nowhere near as deserving as the likes of a Rodgers or a JJ Watt were of being named the MVP of the league this season.
