Prior to the classic Super Bowl 38 game that we were treated to featuring the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers, Beyonce hit the stage in Houston, Texas and delivered one of the best performances of the national anthem that you will ever see.

Now remember, back in 2004, Beyonce was still just beginning to make her mark as one of the best solo acts the industry music had ever seen. Doing what she did on this night in front of the entire nation certainly opened up some new eyes to her immense talents.

This might not be one of the greatest moments of her career, but it certainly played a small part, at the very least, in her rise to super stardom.
