4) Dixie Chicks: Super Bowl XXXVII

While Beyonce was indeed incredible in 2004, the Dixie Chicks were just a tad bit more impressive the year prior during Super Bowl 37 between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders.

What makes this performance by one of the hottest country groups at the time so amazing is that the three were able to stay pretty well in sync throughout the performance. Sure, a country song is one thing, but it’s quite another for three ladies to perfectly put together a performance of the national anthem. With the anthem, people tend to criticize every little thing.

But these three ladies did a fantastic job of keeping the harmony together throughout.
