Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon uses his Hollywood connections to bring together an all-star cast to sing an a capella rendition of Queen’s ‘We are the Champion.’
With the New England Patriots securing a win last night at the 49th Super Bowl, they were probably singing “We are the Champions” to themselves all night. Though they didn’t have to because Jimmy Fallon already did that for them. In fact, the late night talk show host brought together a crazy list of pop stars to serenade the winning team after the Super Bowl. Check out the video below.
In it, you can see the likes of Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Usher, Meghan Trainor, One Direction, and Christina Aguilera lending their famous voices for an a capella rendition of Queen’s “We are the Champions.”

Of course, we also see the talents of the Roots who provided the backing vocals and harmonies for the cast of characters.
Jimmy Fallon could be seen throughout the video interact with the cast in a Brady Bunch-esque fashion.
I don’t know if it’s just me but the video is reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s USA for Africa performance back in the eighties when he brought every known pop star at the time together in one studio to record “We are the World” to support the needy in Africa. Minus the actual helping people aspect of course.
And the fact that it’s clearly an homage to the Brady Bunch opener. Pretty cool nonetheless.
