The New England Patriots are Super Bowl champions, but they’re not the favorites to repeat as winners next year.
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are Super Bowl champions, but they’re going to be entering the 2015 as the underdogs to repeat as kings of the NFL. It may have been a fun ride to the top this season for the Patriots but it’s a ride that is going to have to go through similar hardships in 2015 as they are not the favorites to win Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco.

Instead, it’s the team that the Patriots beat in the Super Bowl who are the favorites to win the big game next year. While they couldn’t pull off the repeat this, the Seahawks are the favorites to win the Super Bowl next year and make it two titles in the last three years.
According to RJ Bell of Pregame.com, the Seattle Seahawks are the early favorites to win Super Bowl
2016 Super Bowl Odds: Sea 6/1; NE 7/1; GB 8/1; Den, Ind 12/1; Dal 18/1; Phi 25/1; SF, Pit, NO, Det, Bal 30/1; Cin 35/1

The Green Bay Packers are an interesting option as they will be entering 2015 with the NFL MVP on their team and a roster hungry for revenge after the way things ended this season. It’s notable too that with the Seahawks the favorites to win the Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49ers — who jettisoned Jim Harbaugh this offseason — are 30/1 odds to win the Super Bowl in 2015.
It’s going to be a fun season this year and while the Patriots may be on top for now, there are more than a few teams ready to come after them in 2015.
