A Brazilian newspaper called Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady ‘Gisele’s husband’ in a report on Super Bowl 2015.
It is truly the Belichick-Bündchen’s husband era.
Amid discussions over whether New England Patriots’ star quarterback Tom Brady has risen into the rarified air of best of all time, the Super Bowl MVP was recently called “Gisele’s husband” in a Brazilian newspaper reporting the Super Bowl.
The foreign press must’ve been a refreshing change of pace for Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen, who married Brady in 2009.
Mr. nameless quarterback threw four touchdowns to four different wide receivers and completed 328 yards in the air as he rallied his team past the Seattle Seahawks in Pats’ 28-24 victory on Sunday. In regards to the tweet, “marido” means husband in Portuguese.
While the marido de Giselle did get picked off twice by the towering Seattle D, it wasn’t enough to offset his fourth-quarter heroics, namely an 8-for-8, 65-yard drive including a touchdown that put the Patriots ahead with roughly 2 minutes left.

It makes for Brady’s fourth Lombardi Trophy, tying Hall of Famer Joe Montana for the most Super Bowl titles. The New England QB also acquired his third Super Bowl MVP and, with 37 of 50 passes completed, broke Peyton Manning’s Super Bowl record of 34 pass completions set last year.
“It wasn’t the way we drew it up. Certainly, throwing a couple of picks didn’t help,” said Brady. “It was a lot of mental toughness. Our team has had it all year. We never doubted each other, so that’s what it took. That was a great football team we beat. I’m just so happy for our team.”
But Brady couldn’t have done it without Malcom Butler’s goal-line interception with under a minute remaining, which sealed the deal for the Patriots.
When the Pats hit a rough patch early in the season, I heard many of my friends shrug off the Patriots’ losses as, “So what? The pretty boy gets to go home to Gisele.
Love him or hate him, Brady is decorated with titles glossier and more extravagant than his wife’s dresses during Vogue photoshoots.
