Video has emerged of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin’s touchdown celebration that earned him a flag.
You might be remember at the apex of the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl XLIX lead when Doug Baldwin was assessed a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct after scoring a touchdown to put his team up 24-14. You didn’t see the penalty unless you were in the stands behind the end zone, but you probably figured ‘Well that’s Doug Baldwin for you,’ and carried on with little thought.
As it turns out, the NFL and/or the network didn’t want you to see the celebration and deliberately diverted the camera from Baldwin as he performed his celebration. Well, someone from the aforementioned stands has got you covered.

You may now carry on with your lives in peace knowing that Baldwin would dare…um…squat over the ball? Like, we know what he’s trying to do, but is that really something you dive at the camera to keep it out of the national peripheral? Is there a single child watching the Super Bowl who hasn’t pretended to crap on something?
Who exactly is being protected by having that censored? Clearly someone who never saw Randy Moss celebrate a touchdown. Wait, was it a bored but outraged Joe Buck who did it? That would make too much sense.
When asked what his celebration was about, Baldwin was cryptic, saying the person it was intended for would know what it meant.
Baldwin cost his team 15 yards, but at least the brave network broadcasters spared us this harrowing celebration that would have truly eroded the innocence of the youth in this country.
