Triple H wants to change Raw back to 2 hours

WWE superstar and executive Triple H said the one thing he’d change about Raw is getting rid of the third hour.

Stone Cold Steve Austin aired another one of his podcasts on the WWE Network, this time interviewing long time super star and real life executive Triple H. They covered a wide array of topics but ended with Austin asking Triple H what single thing he’d change about Raw.

He had an interesting answer that certainly had to ruffle the feathers of Vince McMahon and possibly their television partners.

“If I could change anything I’d love it to be two-hours,” Triple H told Austin. “Third hour of television is so exponentially harder to write, I can’t even begin to describe it to you. It just is really difficult.”

Austin asked if the WWE was married to the three-hour model, which I personally think is just shallow filler and repeated recaps to waste the air time, making it feel like it is dragging on and by the end of it you’re just so ready for it to end.

Triple H said it was a decision for Vince and the finance people, in meetings he admittedly avoids. Still, the trimming the extra hour would pick up the pace of the show and make it more interesting from start to finish.
