The latest snowstorm to hit the Boston area delayed the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl parade by a day, yet both fans and players got more than they bargained for, as their World Champions delivered a powerful body slam at the expense of the Seattle Seahawks.
Wide receiver Julian Edelman started the fun by taking a shot at Seahawks All-Pro corner Richard Sherman:
It's a party in Boston. @Edelman11 with a message for @RSherman_25. #PatriotsParade pic.twitter.com/imvesjk21Y

An effective slam, yes, yet it was nothing compared to what Pats running backs LeGarrette Blount and Brandon Bolden had in store for Seattle Pro Bowl back Marshawn Lynch.
It’s at this point where the NSFW alert kicks in. You’ve been warned:
Yeah, that’s a little more than “shots fired,” although you can imagine that shirt is going to be a popular sell in the Boston area. Kids, just make sure you don’t wear it to school or around Lynch fans.
It’s not often you see a professional team unload on an opponent like this, but rest assured that the Seahawks would love nothing more than to see the Patriots in Super Bowl 50 next February. A New England-Seattle rematch would be perhaps the most highly anticipated showdown of all time, with this celebration serving as ample ammunition for Lynch and the ‘Hawks.
