Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson would like to play the remainder of his NFL career with the Seahawks.
Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks suffered a heartbreaking 28-24 loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 49 on Sunday night, but they are already looking ahead to next season. They are using the loss as motivation to get back to the Super Bowl for another chance in the 2015-16 season.

Both Marshawn Lynch and Wilson are looking to get new contracts done with the Seahawks and Wilson will get a very large payday.
He made it clear that he would like to re-sign with Seattle, and he also mentioned that he wants to play the remainder of his career with the Seahawks.
“I obviously want to play in Seattle forever,” Wilson said.
Those words are comfort to a Seahawks’ fans ears, but it isn’t surprising at all. He was given a chance by Seattle that no other team was willing to give him before them, and he has had a lot of success in his early career. Without him on the team, the Seahawks know that they wouldn’t hav ehad the type of success that they have had.
At just 26 years of age, Wilson has already won a Super Bowl and gotten his team to another. He has thrown for 9,950 yards, 72 touchdowns and just 26 interceptions. Wilson has also picked up 1,877 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.
Seattle is going to have to figure out how to bring both Wilson and Lynch back next season and they are going to have to be willing to spend big money. Those two players are what keeps the offense running and quite simply wouldn’t be a Super Bowl caliber unit without them.
Hearing Wilson state that he wants to be with the Seahawks for the rest of his career is certainly a good sign. He might be willing to do a team-friendly deal in order to give them some type of flexibility. If not, the Seahawks are still going to have to accept it and get the deal done as soon as possible.
All of that being said, it is going to be an intriguing option to keep an eye on the Seahawks. They have a few holes to fill in their roster, and they need to bring back a couple of their best players. It isn’t going to be easy for them to figure everything out, but they are a very well run team and will get things done.
