VIDEO: Ryan White of the Philadelphia Flyers destroyed the nose of New York Islanders forward Matt Martin with some punches during a fight.
What happens whenever you take your nose and decide to use it to block the punches of someone swinging at your face? Well, you end up looking like New York Islanders forward Matt Martin did on Thursday night.

Martin chose to duke it out with Ryan White of the Philadelphia Flyers, and that may just have been the worst decision he has made this year.
Not only did Martin lose the fight, Ryan White managed to beat Martin so badly that the Islanders forward left the ice with what appeared to be a broken nose — which was definitely bloody — and a nice black eye.
All of you savages can see the fight in the video at the top of the post.
The bad news for Martin: His nose is almost certainly broken. The good news: he was able to return to the ice and put in some time in what is currently a game tied at two goals a piece.
For those who are curious, Martin returned to the ice in the second period with a protective shield to prevent any further damage to his nose which was rearranged courtesy of Ryan White.
Martin out for first shift with full shield.
