If this is news to you, then you most likely won’t get a ticket to the exclusive event. In order to get a ticket, fans had to answer the question: “Who is your favorite Game of Thrones character and what would you cook them to win their heart?” The best answers were chosen last night, February 4th, and the winners earned a seat at the restaurant. That’s a pretty classy move. This way some genuine fans get the chance to be involved in this unique experience, even if they aren’t willing shell out the most cash.
The short-lived event will take place at the Andaz hotel. According to The Huffinton Post , the restaurant will only be open from February 13th to the 15th.
CNBC reports that the courses are still being planned, but so far we know of one dish named “The lies of Tyrion Lannister and his proclaimed innocence”, which will most likely be veal tongue. They also reported that the invite read:
"“Guests will sample the finest delicacies Westeros has to offer over multiple courses, accompanied by a carefully selected drinks menu of cocktails fit for a King.”"
HBO tweeted this image out two days in preparation for the content:
The opening of the restaurant coincides with the DVD and Blu-Ray release of the 4th season of Game of Thrones. In cased you missed it, you can check out the trailer for the 5th season, which is coming this April, below:
