Anthony Davis just crushed the hopes and dreams of the Oklahoma City Thunder

Anthony Davis is certainly making his mark as one of the more elite players in the entire NBA, and on Friday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he put another exclamation point on that process.

While the kid is a freak of nature athletically, everyone is going to be looking for that proverbial “clutch gene,” and that was on full display in this one.

With time running out on the clock in regulation and with Russell Westbrook having just tied things up, it appeared that were were surely headed to overtime in this one. Well, that possibility went right out the window once Anthony Davis got the ball in his hands and drilled the game-winning three-pointer to give the Pelicans the win.

It’s literally getting to that point now where there is nothing that this young man can’t do on a basketball court for this New Orleans team. It’s becoming so much fun to watch him grow into one of the best players in the NBA, and to think he’s so young is scary for the rest of the league that has to deal with him.
