Chris Paul rips female referee after game (Video)

Los Angeles Clippers superstar point guard Chris Paul ripped NBA female referee Lauren Holtkamp following their loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.
Ever since the NBA added female referees a few years back, there have been quite a few players and fans that have complained about them. Whether they simply don’t like a female ref in a male sport or because the referee makes bad calls consistently, there have been quite a few people who don’t like the fact that women are involved in the NBA.

That was the case once again following Thursday night’s Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Clippers game. Chris Paul had some harsh words for the NBA’s rookie female referee Lauren Holtkamp.
There were quite a few blown calls throughout the course of the game, and quite a few of them were from the rookie referee. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, or maybe the Clippers said something to irritate her. Either way, she didn’t seem willing to respond to the Clippers’ questions about the calls.
Paul made that very clear after the game, and mentioned that “maybe this isn’t for her.”
It is the officials job to explain a call after they make it in the NBA and if Holtkamp really did do what Paul said she did, she is in the wrong.
Who knows what had happened up until that point to make Holtkamp respond like that, but either way it isn’t professional and Paul would have a right to be upset.
