Houston Texans All-Pro J.J. Watt was just as dangerous in high school

J.J. Watt is turning into one of the most dominant football players of our time. Not only does he dominate defensively, he can also score on offense, and is the definition of a “football player.”

The Houston Texans’ defensive end was an MVP candidate, and many he felt he should have won the award for his extraordinary play on the field.

Watt had more than 20 sacks on defense and caught five touchdowns on offense this year.

Not many people can do the things Watt has done on the field.

It turns out he was doing these same things in high school as well, as you’d expect, as a youth in Wisconsin. This video below perfectly showcases how extraordinary he was at the high school level.

In the video, Watt is shown blowing up plays at the line of scrimmage consistently and wreaking havoc on the quarterback, just like he does every Sunday in the NFL.

It doesn’t stop there either.

In the video of his high school plays, Watt played offense too and made some incredible catches on that side of the ball, showing that he is a lethal threat on both sides of the football.

The Houston Texans have one of the most special players to enter the league in some time and almost made the playoffs this year. If they can continue to get Watt some help, they can get back to the playoffs and take that next step.
