LEGO ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Trailer is awesome… and wierd

YouTube user Antonio Toscano uses his amazing talent in re-creating the ”Fifty Shades” trailer using LEGOs, resulting in an incredible final product.

There have been plenty of LEGO recreations for movies and television shows of all kinds over the years, so it was only a matter of time until it the practice bled into some truly weird places.

With the upcoming release of the film adaptation of the popular erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, one YouTube user recreated the film’s trailer with LEGO and… well, see for yourself:

If you thought the actual trailer was creepy, the LEGO version of Christian Grey and that pervy grin is sure to unsettle you even more.

The film and book it is based on tells the story of a literature student and wealthy entrepreneur who begin a dominant-submissive relationship which begins an elongated affair.

E.L. James, the author of the Fifty Shades series, received criticism for the writing quality of the novels as well as what many practitioners of BDSM call a misrepresentation of their culture, citing the relationship between the books’ major character’s as more of an abusive relationship rather than a consensual dominant-submissive relationship.
