The NFL has released the list of defensive lineman invited to the 2015 combine

Much like offensive lineman, defensive lineman have to win the battle up front for the rest of the defense to be successful.

When the defense can get a push up front, it allows the linebackers to create pressure off the edges and forces the quarterback to make throws that good secondaries can feed off of.

With offenses in the NFL becoming more explosive by the day, stronger defenses are needed, and much like the offensive side of the ball, when it comes to defense it starts with the big guys up front.
