Arizona State is getting all the help they can get against No. 6 Arizona, including some creative help from the student section.
Arizona State has bitter rival No. 6 Arizona in town Saturday and the game has seen it’s fair share of interesting moments. One of the things that Arizona State has going for them, is the “curtain of distraction” in the student section, where students pop up behind a curtain doing something different every time an opposing players go to the free throw line.

To knock a program like Arizona off their game, it would take quite the distraction — and that’s exactly what happened.
In order to distract Arizona at the free throw line, some of the Arizona State student began to twerk while wearing horse, duck and various other masks once the curtain was removed.
Not only was it distracting, but it looked flat out wrong — like way wrong and possibly a little disturbing. This is like that nightmare I keep having and it just got too real today.
Congratulations, it’s now your nightmare too.
Arizona State is struggling this season at an even .500 and are only 3-6 in PAC 12 play thus far on the year. To get some wins going, the team needs all they can get.
The students bring the effort every game and are starting to get some recognition.
Seeing a bunch of guys in animal masks twerking while trying to shoot a free throw is definitely distracting and a torturous sight at that.
