Iowa State jumped all over the Texas Tech Red Raiders Saturday and got some stylish help from Monte Morris.

Iowa State is out to prove they belong with the rest of the title contenders in the NCAA. Saturday they absolutely embarrassed the Texas Tech Red Raiders at home in Ames, Iowa, by a score of 75-38. Not only were the Cyclones running up and down on the Red Raiders, they were creating highlight after highlight.

One of those highlights came courtesy of courtesy of guard Monte Morris.

After Iowa State got out in transition, forward Georges Niang, standing at the three-point lob threw up a lob to the streaking Morris.

Texas Tech defenders took their eyes off Morris as they thought Niang was shooting, and it allowed Morris to leap uncontested and throw down the monstrous finish to a beautiful lob from Niang.

Iowa State has a chance to pick up some ground in the polls after No. 10 Notre Dame lost to No. 4 Duke Saturday in Durham.

Iowa continues to roll with a 17-5 record and look primed to take one of the higher seeds in the March Madness tournament if they can continue to rack up wins in the Big 12.

As for Texas Tech, they fall to an even .500 with a record of 12-12 on the year and an abysmal 2-9 record in Big 12 conference play.
