Lance Briggs trolls Packers, says he will never sign with them
By Josh Hill
The Green Bay Packers won the NFC North this season, but Lance Briggs doesn’t care and will not play for them — ever.
Loyalty only runs as deep as you allow it to, and for Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs, hatred for his rivals runs deeper than any loyalty he has for a team. Briggs has played his entire career for the Chicago Bears, but is facing an offseason in which he could be forced to look for work elsewhere for the first time in his career.

Briggs isn’t open to playing for everyone though, even though work for veteran linebackers is hard to come by at times — just ask Brian Urlacher. Despite the fact that he may not be playing for the Bears next season, his hatred for the Green Bay Packers has been so infused into his being as a player that he’s ruled out the possibility of signing with them.
According to David Just of the Chicago Sun-Times, Lance Briggs may not be back with the Bears in 2015 but he most certainly will not be joining the Green Bay Packers if he is in search of work.
In fact, Briggs isn’t in need of the media to get his message across, he’s flat out rejecting the Packers before they even come knocking.
This is a brash display of loyalty and an even brasher display of flat out hatred for a team, it’s fans and everything it stands for. Hatred for the Packers has been brainwashed Briggs to the point where he’s only going to consider 30 NFL teams if the Bears let him go, but that just shows how intense rivalries are in the NFL and how seriously the players involved take them.
