What five bold predictions can be made about the NFL‘s upcoming 2015 free agency period?

The 2014-15 NFL season has come to a close, and the New England Patriots are the new reigning champions.

Now, the focus has turned to the upcoming offseason and especially free agency. It is expected to be one of the busiest offseasons that the NFL has seen in quite some time. There are quite a few star players on the free agent market, and it is going to be extremely interesting to see where they end up going.

Names like Randall Cobb, Ndamukong Suh, Justin Houston, and DeMarco Murray are available, and they will all receive a lot of interest on the open market. Plenty of teams are going to be looking to spend big in order to get into Super Bowl contention next year, and quite a few of these players will have that type of impact on their new teams.

That being said, there are going to be some big moves being made this offseason. Whether free agents re-sign with their current teams or sign a big deal with another, there are going to be some big moves made.

Free agency can be a waste of money for some teams, but it can also be what turns pretenders into contenders. The Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, and multiple other teams were right on the cusp of the playoffs, and free agency is what can help them reach that goal next year.
