The Pittsburgh student section’s plan to mock Syracuse didn’t work so well.

Anytime Pittsburgh and Syracuse get together it’s always a classic between the two ACC conference rivals. With Syracuse coming to Pittsburgh for a Saturday evening affair, the student section dubbed the Oakland Zoo, had a scouting report on the Syracuse players ready.

Not only did they have a cheat sheet on the Syracuse roster, they had signs and posters mocking the Syracuse basketball team as well. But the troll job was all for naught, and actually ended up being a troll job of the troll job in some weird sort of Inception way.

Just take a gander at the cheat sheet that is supposed to be making fun of Syracuse players.

In the cheat sheet, the student section’s report on forward Tyler Roberson was that he spelled his name wrong and forgot the “T.” Apparently, whoever made the cheat sheet didn’t realize that Roberson is spelled correctly and has no “T” in his last name.

So the Pittsburgh students tried their hardest to mock Syracuse, but in the end, they stumbled over their own feet before they could get going. Perhaps spelling lessons are needed as a prerequisite to enter into the trolling game as it’s clearly needed in this case.
