There are 9 games on the slate today. That means plenty of lineup options to allow you to take home that money. I’m going to offer a few lineups today, since some of us won’t be playing the 2 early games. Before your lineups are set, be sure to check out today’s injury updates HERE. I will also keep you updated live on injuries and roster adjustments throughout the day HERE. Let’s get right into it: Here are my FanDuel NBA Daily Picks and Lineups for February 8

At the point guard position:

George Hill – 5300
Hill has been solidly avergaing 6x value since being back in the starting lineup. He is back to the number one option on offense, and the team has been playing better around him. Charlotte is injury-plagued. I expect him to be a huge pickup today, and owned by over 50% in most leagues.

Kyrie Irving – 8700
Not too much to say here. He is great, and Lakers are terrible against the point. Last in the league actually. My only concern playing Kyrie is a blowout could land him on the bench in the end.

D.J. Augustin – 7200
It seems as if he is starting to level out a little bit, but he still has an obvious ability to put up huge numbers. Minnesota is terrible defensively all-around, and are in the bottom 5 against point guards specifically. I don’t know if he can have another 50 point outing, but 35-40 (over 5x value) doesn’t seem out of reach at all for Augustin tonight.

Next: Shooting Guards

Lance Stephenson – 4900
While he is not the model for consistency, his season average and this price puts his running value over 4x. Kemba Walker is out, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is out. They will need other players to step up and do some damage if the Hornets hope to start winning again. Lance may not go off for 6-7x tonight, but 25 points, or 5x, should be simple with increased minutes.

Jamal Crawford – 5000
Crawford is averaging 4.5x value over his last 6 games. 3 of 6 have been at 5x, the other three have been at 4x. J.J. Redick is still doubtful, which could mean a few more minutes. He did return to his normal role of coming off of the bench, and played well doing so. Look for this solid streak to continue for him.

Wayne Ellington – 5000
Since entering the starting lineup, Ellington has only had one bad game. For the most part, he is consistently averaging 5x value. It’s not a ton of points, but you can spend your money elsewhere when you buy low on him. Also, the Cavs give up the 2nd most points to 2 guards this season. He shouldn’t have a problem keeping up with the 5x average tonight.

Next: Small Forwards

Tobias Harris – 6100
His last three game scores have been 47.4, 44, and 27.6. At his price, 30.5 pts is 5x value, and he has finally found his groove and has been crushing that. If he moves down to the 4 spot tonight, there becomes some match-up trouble against those tall Bulls. He may need to rely a little more on his mid-range game tonight, but if he can hit, look for another big outing.

Gerald Henderson – 5300
There are a plethora of injuries in Charlotte right now,  and if they expect to win, the need someone to step up and score the ball. Seeing as Indiana is in the bottom 10, he could be their other scoring option tonight. Gerald is coming off back to back 40 point games (FanDuel) and has scored around 30 or more in 4 of his last 5.

Trevor Ariza – 5300
Ariza has been playing well lately, averaging 6x value in 4 of his last 6 games. Tonight, he goes up against the Blazers, who give up the 4th most fantasy ppg to small forwards this season. He does have a slight neck strain, but it isn’t considered to be something to greatly affect his play.

Next: Power Forwards

Greg Monroe – 8200
Monroe is fairly reliable, and typically averages between 4x and 4.5x value. His is coming off a huge game of 21 points and 21 rebounds. Tonight, he faces the Timberwolves. They are in the bottom 5 defensively against power forwards this season, so there is an increased chance he could repeat.

Aaron Gordon – 3500
*This is considered a risky play, and should be used in GPPs
Gordon has been playing well this year when he hasn’t been hurt. He did sit out a few games back, but played 23 minutes against the Lakers on Friday. At this price, he only needs 17.5 points to achieve 5x value. The Bulls have been struggling a little against mobile-bigs lately. If he can get enough minutes, he should have no problem producing

Josh Smith – 6100
4 of his last 5 games have been over 35 points, and the 5th was 25 points. (For reference, just over 30 is 5x value). Since Dwight Howard has been out, Smith has been a consistent, and reliable, option for the Rockets. As of late, the Blazers have been in the bottom 10 against power forwards, so look for Smith’s hot streak to continue.

Next: Centers

Feb 7, 2015; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins (15) passes the ball during the first quarter against the Utah Jazz at EnergySolutions Arena. Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

DeMarcus Cousins – 11000
Cousins has been tearing it up lately with 5 straight double doubles, and 50 fantasy points in 3 of his last 5 games; and his price reflects it. There are plenty of value plays listed today, so money shouldn’t be an object with your Center today. He will most likely be owned by nearly 50-55% of players today, but in 50/50s you may just have to go with the crowd if you want to be in the money.

Brandan Wright -3500
His last 2 games have been duds. However, his 4 prior to that he was averaging 19 fantasy points and that is a value over 5x. He is a risky play tonight, but if you don’t have the money left, or need a potential sleeper for GPP, he is your guy tonight.
