5. Jake Locker

Let me get started by saying that Jake Locker is not going to change an NFL franchise. Locker is not a guy that is going to bring a team to the Super Bowl. However, he really has been bound to fail in his young career given the talent the Tennessee Titans had surrounded him with. Well in 2014, the Titans gave the keys to the offense to Zach Mettenberger and it looks as if the Titans aren’t going to offer the Washington product a contract.

Despite his problems over the years, the Philadelphia Eagles are reported to have interest in Locker. If you remember correctly, Chip Kelly was the coach of the Oregon Ducks when Locker was at Washington and with the Eagles’ uncertainty at the quarterback position, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the Eagles, in fact, take a flyer on Locker. If a team is looking for a stopgap solution for a year or two, Locker is by all means a decent option. If he gets some type of talent around, who knows, maybe he could resurrect his career.
