There are 10 fixtures being played between Tuesday and Wednesday which is always a nice treat for those of us who don’t particularly enjoy getting up at 6:45 am ET to watch our teams do battle. Granted you will be doing that anyway if your team is still in the FA cup tournament.
There are some big games thrown in to the mix, including a game that could go a long way to deciding who finishes in the top four at the end of the season. Liverpool are at home to Tottenham on Tuesday, and a win could send them one point behind their champions league rivals.
It’s also an incredible two days for the fight for survival, Hull City play Aston Villa, while Sunderland play QPR. These games will prove vital to see who will be favorites for relegation come the end of the season.
There’s also the small matter of Chelsea vs Everton. Fans of Manchester City will be hoping that Everton can do them a favor after they slipped up against Hull over the weekend.
